Half a century of the history of the world's greatest motorcycle race awaits you at the Salon du 2 Roues. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of L'Enduropale du Touquet, originally known as the Enduro des Sables, no fewer than thirty emblematic motorcycles will be on display, and not the least. The Yamaha of Arnaud Demeester, record-holder of victories (7) on the event, will take pride of place amidst sometimes surprising creations such as machines specially designed to take the holeshot at the end of the long 5-kilometer straight. Honda 900 CBR 4-cylinder, Ducati twin-cylinder and Folan 4-cylinder 2-stroke will be the best illustrations. You'll also find some of the bikes that won for KTM or Honda. For the ultimate in completeness, the exhibition will also feature Quadenduro quads and 2-stroke 125s, as well as a cocktail of bikes from every decade of Enduro history. Several riders will be present over the 4 days of the Show: Serge Bacou , Winner in 1978 , Arnaud Demeester , Jean Claude Moussé , Adrien Van Beveren and you'll even be able to meet the author of the 50 years of Le Touquet book, Eric Poiret, and have it signed.
