Description
Motorcycle racing has always aroused the passion of different generations of bikers. As far as manufacturers are concerned, it's synonymous with a technological showcase for their know-how. That's why, since the creation of Grand Prix racing in 1949, everyone has been involved in one way or another. From the very first year of its existence, the 500cc class established itself as the championship's premier category. And yet, in this exhibition retracing 100 years of Grand Prix and 80 of 500cc, we're showcasing some unique prototypes. The oldest dates back to the early 20th century: the twin-cylinder Peugeot 500. You can also discover representative models from the 1980s and 90s, right up to the last Yamaha 500 produced in 2002, Carlos Checa's OWL9.
